Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford is an American actor, singer, and dancer. Some of her early Broadway productions include Wicked Legally Blonde Hair. The film is scheduled to stream through Disney's DTC platforms, as well as Hulu Original. Ashford will return in 2023 and will play opposite Josh Groban at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre to perform the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. This show will be directed by Thomas Kail and produced by Jeffrey Seller, the team which produced Hamilton. Ashford was last seen as Paula Jones in Ryan Murphy FX series American Crime Story Impeachment. The show centers around the National Crisis, which saw Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky Linda Tripp in the middle of the nation's first impeachment proceedings during the Over an Century. In two seasons, Ashford played a prominent role in CBS's hit comedy B Positive. It was developed by Marco Pennette, Chuck Lorre and Linda Lavin. Also, it featured Ben Vereen and Hector Elizondo. Sunday in the Park with George Wicked legally blonde and the original role of Lauren In Kinky Boots were among her other Broadway credits. Ashford splits her life between Los Angeles & New York. She was born in Denver & raised there.
