Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme in France, was born on the 9th of August 1976. Audrey is the oldest child of four. Since a young age, both her dental doctor parents as well as her teacher mother encouraged her passion of theater and drama. The passion for theater was the one which trumped her original desire to become a the first primatologist. Her fame grew as an actress in her early years and with enormous success. After completing her studies She was a part of the French talent-spotting TV show Jeunes Premiers that was sponsored by Canal+. Her image was the mainstay for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and she is often known as the Chanel Muse. In addition to her acting work, she has an interest in photography. The actress recently showed some images at the Arles Film Festival under the name Superficial. Her photography is focused on celebrity, fame and the media that scrutinised her after her emergence on the scene in the film Amelie. Additionally, there are several photographs that show herself. Audrey Tautou's first big part, playing Amelie Poulain's leading actor in the film Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie, landed the actress international fame. Amelie was recognized internationally due to its success at the box office. It was also praised at awards ceremonies across the globe. It remains the highest grossing French language film in the US. The success of this movie led Tautou to a variety of roles, including British dramas as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
